Player Card Vault, steadier seats and better seat controls

Bring horses from real DOC player cards online, keep your seat through a dropped connection, and use the seat controls comfortably on a phone.

Player Card Vault (Winner's Circle)

  • Have horses on real DOC player cards? Scan the card to a .raw file (the card backup guide shows how), then upload it under My Stable, Player Card Vault.
  • Every horse is checked before it is accepted. Most pass right away; a few are held for a quick review.
  • Once a horse is checked, move it into your stable right from the Vault.
  • Imported horses race normally but stay unproven until they have proven themselves on our cabinets: no Lab, transfers or rankings until then. The leaderboards count only what a horse earns here.
  • Upload your original scan. Cards changed in an editor can be refused.

Seats

  • A dropped connection no longer costs you your seat if the cabinet can't put you back right away.
  • When your turn in line comes up, you have 2 minutes to confirm you're still there.
  • A horse card from a different game version waits safely for a cabinet running that version.

Seat controls

  • The Leave confirmation can no longer hide behind the control panel on phones.
  • Pinned Restart, Refresh and phone-link pop-ups open on top of everything, so the on-screen pad can't cover them.
  • The phone QR code fits when your phone is sideways.
  • Keyboard players: Escape closes these pop-ups without touching your game.

Stream and lobby

  • The race caller knows which game each cabinet is running.
  • Cleaner cabinet video, with no more doubled feeds.
  • The site menu is back on smaller screens.
Coming soon

Coming soon: community host cabinets and game switching on JP-1

Two things in testing now.

Community host cabinets return

  • Host cabinets are coming back on a brand-new setup built just for hosts.
  • They will play by the same rules as our house cabinets, with horses saved straight to your online stable and Restart and Refresh from your seat.
  • A short pilot with one host comes first, then hosting opens to Winner's Circle members.

Scheduled game switching on JP-1

  • JP-1 is testing switching between DOC '99 and DOC 2000 on a schedule, so the right game is up when the players who love it are awake.
  • You always get a countdown first, and nobody gets moved mid-race.
  • Once it proves itself on JP-1, it comes to more cabinets.

Horse Export is retired

Export is no longer part of Winner's Circle. If you exported a horse before, read this: it affects where that horse can save.

  • Export has been removed from the Winner's Circle perks. For practice at home, use a Home Pack.
  • Horses that stopped saving after an Export now save again.
  • Export copies that were still waiting to download no longer download.
  • On a community host cabinet, a save that needs a closer look still lands. The horse is held for a quick review instead of the save being refused.
  • Only Winner's Circle members can host a cabinet.
  • If one of your horses still won't save, ask in Discord and we will look at it.
New

Rev C Rebalance test cabinet

A test build of Rev C that fixes the Sharp stat, with its own sealed group of horses. Your existing horses are not affected.

  • In World Edition and DOC 2000, the Sharp stat's own race effect never fires: a Sharp 60 horse picks up speed exactly like a Sharp 20 horse.
  • The Rev C Rebalance cabinet in the lobby runs a build that reads each horse's real Sharp and restores the acceleration curve the designers wrote. It is one acceleration term, not top speed.
  • Rebalance horses are a separate, sealed group with a blue RB01 badge. They stay on the Rebalance cabinet and never mix with regular horses in breeding or the Studbook.
  • The Breeding Lab can make Rebalance foals, from the Rebalance catalog or your own RB01 horses.
  • Copy to RB01 makes a Rebalance copy of a World Edition horse (same name, stats and record, its own card) to test on the Rebalance cabinet. The original is not changed.
